An ongoing project for the Ballina Mens' Shed is the creation of a vegetable garden and the landscaping of the grounds around the shed and carpark. Watch it grow, develop and bloom.
All volunteers are most welcome.
We've begun a succulent garden beside the ramp with 20 varieties at the moment. november 23


Two hydrangeas, both grown from cuttings, are now flowering in the island garden bed. december 23
A pineapple top, brought in by Cedric nearly 2 years ago, is at last bearing fruit.

A Guzmania bromeliad in flower. The flowers can last several months and then the plant produces pups before dying.
The Ballina Mens Shed are starting a new venture, AIR B'B'B with the new 'Bee Happy Hotel' to encourage native bees to nest and feast on our beautiful flowers


A new low vegetable bed has been created and planted with a green manure, initially screened to stop the birds eating the seeds! mar2023

MAY 2021: The first chore was to clear the proposed area of cubby houses, compost bins, shrubs and stumps.
